Key Responsibilities

Fundamental Knowledge

· Strong foundation in organic chemistry, including familiarity with named organic reactions

· Proficient in literature search and synthetic route design

· Strong skills in spectral analysis

· Ability to anticipate potential issues in projects based on knowledge and experience, and propose effective solutions

Research & Development Capabilities

· Lead and contribute actively within a research team, taking charge of technical research in process development

· Manage the R&D and production lifecycle of two or more process projects simultaneously

· Expertise in process route design and optimization, with knowledge of process costing and raw material sourcing

· Independently communicate with clients and lead project discussions via conference calls

· Manage complex projects including overall experiment planning, problem identification and resolution, and tracking project progress to ensure timely, high-quality completion

· Collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth project delivery

· Prepare, revise, and review various project reports such as updates and campaign reports

Production Support

· Oversee revisions and reviews of R&D reports, batch records, and safety reports related to projects

· Responsible for ordering and tracking raw materials for assigned projects

· Familiar with factory operations, process workflows, GMP concepts and procedures; able to guide project members and coordinate departments to facilitate production

· Provide timely and effective solutions for production-related issues

Compliance & Others

· Strictly follow updated company and department SOPs; participate in SOP updates and revisions

· Actively maintain 5S management standards within the department

· Train and supervise team members on technical skills, EHS, IP protection, and other compliance requirements

Qualifications

· Education: Master’s degree or above in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related fields

· Language: CET-4 or higher; proficient in spoken and written English

· Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and chemistry software such as ChemDraw

· Other: Strong ability to read and interpret professional chemistry literature and perform literature searches

Experience

· Minimum 5 years of experience in organic or medicinal chemistry synthesis (or fresh PhD graduates)

· Strong sense of responsibility, clear thinking, excellent communication skills, and teamwork spirit

Researcher

Key Responsibilities

Fundamental Knowledge

· Understand the properties of compounds involved in assigned reaction steps and conduct literature searches

· Have a clear understanding of the reaction mechanisms for assigned steps

· Independently perform spectral analyses including NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, etc.

Research & Development Capabilities

· Under the guidance of the project leader, independently complete R&D for 1–2 reaction steps

· Conduct repeats experiments, process exploration, optimization, work-up, experiment tracking, destructive testing, simulate plant production, verify process stability, and identify key control points

· Organize experimental data logically, analyze results, propose insights and next research directions

· Independently prepare reports for assigned reaction steps

Production Support

· Draft R&D reports, batch records, and safety reports for assigned steps within process projects

· Prepare raw material lists for assigned steps

· Independently support production and coordinate with various departments

· Identify and promptly report production issues to the project leader

Compliance & Others

· Strictly follow updated company and department SOPs and provide reasonable suggestions for updates

· Actively maintain 5S management standards within the department

· Ensure compliance with EHS, IP protection, and other company regulations within the department

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related fields

· Language: National English Level 4 or above (CET-4 or equivalent)

· Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other office software

Experience

· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or fresh Master’s graduates

· Strong sense of responsibility, clear thinking, good communication skills, and team spirit
